Event Participation

This is a personal matter, I have been scheduled to attend the Sannomiya Tsubaki event in Akihabara, Tokyo on July 16.

Just today, there was news that tickets are sold out, and Sannomiya Tsubaki may be in the mood for a good time (although she is enjoying playing poker tonight as well).

It takes four hours one way from my area to Tokyo on the Shinkansen bullet train, which costs close to 30,000 yen. It is not cheap, but to me it is worth it.

There are fans who come from further away than I do, and I am not special. I think people from overseas might be surprised at this situation.

I personally have many issues and concerns, but since this is a fun event, let’s hold off for now.

As a point of reference, the unspoken rule at these events is to bring a souvenir or gift. It is not necessarily a problem if you do not have a gift, but you may feel a little embarrassed if you are the only one who does not have one, since everyone else will have one. It is a very difficult question to decide what to give as a gift, and I am always worried about it. I have not yet prepared a gift myself, and I am still struggling with it.

If it is based on the idea of “altruism,” which I have introduced many times since the other day, the choice is even more difficult. It is only a matter of feelings, though.

For my first and last favorite, Tsubaki Sannomiya.
